Oct. 9 - King of the Mountain Race in Clearfield

 

WHO: Any registrants with a Road Bike, Mountain Bike, Tandem, or Recumbent, and a helmet.

WHAT: The King of the Mountain Race is an annual bike race that benefits the Habitat for Humanity of Clearfield County. 

WHERE: The race starts at Florian Banquet Center, Mill Road, Clearfield, PA. See the Directions page for details.

WHEN: Race Day is Sunday October 9, 2016. Registration tables will be open from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the Banquet Center.  Riders must report to the registration tables to receive numbers, starting time and timing chips.  All riders must be registered.

HOW: Pre-Register or Register Race Day and Race up the hill to benefit Habitat for Humanity.

WHY: Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ecumenical ministry dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Net proceeds will be used to buy building materials.

SAFETY:  Helmets must be worn by all riders.  There will be no exceptions!  If you meet a rider who is injured, you should determine the extent of the injury and decide if emergency medical attention is needed.  If the injury requires immediate attention, stay with the injured rider.  Send word to the nearest tour official or checkpoint with the next approaching rider. 

 

*ANSI OR SNELL helmets are required for all riders.
